Straw Hat (Natural Material/Papergrass) Care Instructions

Your straw hat is crafted from natural plant fibers like papergrass, wheat straw, or waterweed, offering a perfect blend of breathability and style. Due to its delicate nature, proper care will significantly extend its lifespan. Please follow these guidelines:

1.Waterproof & Moisture-proof to Prevent Deformation
Natural straw is highly absorbent. Avoid wearing your hat in the rain.
If it gets wet, gently pat it dry with a soft cloth immediately and allow it to air dry in a cool, well-ventilated area.
Keep it away from direct sunlight, hairdryers, or clothes dryers to prevent brittleness, deformation, or color fading.

2.Gentle Cleaning – Do Not Immerse in Water
Never submerge the hat in water, as this may cause deformation, glue failure, or mold growth.
For routine cleaning, use a slightly damp soft cloth to gently wipe away dust and sweat stains.
For stubborn stains, lightly dab with a cloth dipped in mild soapy water, then wipe with a clean damp cloth. Finally, use a dry cloth to absorb moisture quickly.

3.Proper Storage to Avoid Crushing
When not in use, support the hat’s shape with a hat stand or soft stuffing (e.g., tissue or cloth) to avoid permanent deformation.
Before long-term storage, ensure the hat is completely dry. Store it in the original box or a breathable dust-proof bag.
Keep in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated cabinet, away from sunlight, dampness, and insects.

4.Additional Tips
Avoid frequent folding, pulling, or squeezing to prevent fiber damage.
If the brim becomes warped, place a damp cloth over it and gently iron with a low-temperature iron. Always test in an inconspicuous area first and proceed with caution.

Wool Fedora Care Instructions

Your wool fedora is soft, warm, and richly textured. Wool requires gentle care to maintain its shape and feel. Please refer to the following instructions:

1.Handle with Care – Prefer Dry Cleaning
Frequent washing is not recommended. It strips natural oils, causing wool to harden, shrink, or fade.
Use a soft-bristled brush or toothbrush to gently remove dust in one direction for daily upkeep.
For minor stains, wipe gently with a well-wrung damp cloth and air dry.
For best results, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended. If handwashing is necessary, use cold water and wool-specific detergent. Avoid wringing or rubbing.

2.Moisture Prevention & Drying
Wool absorbs moisture easily. Avoid prolonged wear in humid conditions.
If the hat becomes damp from sweat or rain, allow it to dry thoroughly in a shaded, ventilated area before storing to prevent odor or mildew.

3.Store Properly to Retain Shape
Proper storage is essential. Use a dedicated hat box or stuff the crown with soft cloth or paper to help maintain its form.
Do not store in sealed plastic bags, as this traps moisture and may lead to mold.
Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Avoid direct contact with mothballs or other chemicals.

4.Other Tips
Avoid friction against rough surfaces to prevent pilling.
To reshape slightly deformed areas, use steam at a safe distance or seek professional refurbishing. Do not iron directly.

Warm Tip: Taking good care of your hat will not only keep it looking new longer but also reflects your appreciation for a cherished accessory.
